Shipping of Hazardous Goods2018-02-02T18:36:37+00:00

If the item that you are trying to ship is deemed Hazmat you may have an additional fee added to your order when you check out. Items are deemed Hazmat as per the Section 14 Transport Information located in the item’s Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).

Flammable or explosive items such as Fire Extinguishers, MEK, Toluene, Paint Thinner, etc. are subject to a $50.00 Hazmat fee via ground shipping methods.

Most Hazardous Goods are subject to air and international transport fees. This fee is $95.00 for domestic air shipping methods and $139.00 for international shipping methods.

While we aren’t able to exchange custom products (unless damaged), you can return your unwanted item and place a new order online. You can return any unwanted items within 30 days of receipt.

I received a defective or incorrect item. Do I have to pay to ship it back?2018-02-02T18:35:23+00:00

If you received the wrong item or if the item is defective, we will reimburse you for the cost of shipping the item back to us.  Before returning any merchandise, please contact AviationMaintenancePlatforms.com at [email protected]AviationMaintenancePlatforms.com along with order number and issue.

(Note: We are not able to reimburse for express shipping.)

Yes you can, but the process is slower compared to ordering online with a major credit card or ACH/Wire, which we recommend over a check.

Here’s the steps necessary to pay via check:

  1. Select your items online and add them to your Shopping Cart.
  2. Verify the quantities of your items.
  3. Next, select a “Shipping Method.” (You can adjust the shipping method until you find a rate that works for you.)
  4. Fill out the order form. Once complete, write down your order number and send that with the check to the address below.

Product Samples:

From prospective new vendors, AviationMaintenancePlatforms.com occasionally requires a sample of each product for testing and evaluation before it can be considered for addition to the product line.

Aviation Maintenance Platforms will not pay for product samples or the shipping of product samples either inbound or outbound.
Product samples will be returned only to vendors who send a written request and a call tag for the item(s).
Product samples will be used and returned in a used condition.
Aviation Maintenance Platforms is not responsible for wear, tear or breakage to any product sample.
Aviation Maintenance Platforms generally responds to new product samples within 30 days of receipt.
If Aviation Maintenance Platforms has not received a written request for return of the sample along with the appropriate call tag for return shipping within 90 days, the sample may be disposed.
Vendors are not eligible for any compensation for product samples.
